MS G.55 fol. 36r

Christ: Ecce Homo — Christ, , partially draped and wearing a crown of thorns with rays as a nimbus, stands on a balcony inscribed ECCE HOMO holding a stick in His right hand. Next to Him is Pilate, wearing a garment with a vair collar and turban-like headgear. He holds a staff in his left hand and indicates Christ with his right. Below, two groups of men and soldiers look toward each other. One soldier is armed with a saber, one with a halberd, and others with spears. The men at the head of each group raise their hands toward Christ and Pilate.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament. In the lower margin are the initials A and P linked by a love knot. Text, Short Hours of the Holy Spirit.
