Description: 

Christ: Crucifixion — A cross-nimbed Christ wearing a crown of thorns and a short loincloth, is affixed toa tau cross with three nails and is bleeding from His wounds. He is flanked by a nimbed and veiled Virgin Mary, kneeling with joined hands, and a nimbed Evangelist John, also kneeling with joined hands. The scene is set beneath a starry sky.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament. In the lower margin is the heraldic shield of Hospitallers (gules, a cross argent). Text, Hours of the Virgin.
