MS G.55 fol. iv v

Christ: Crucifixion Christ, wearing a short loincloth and with rays as a nimbus and a crown of thorns, is affixed with three nails to a cross bearing the titulus INRI. He is flanked by Longinus and Longinus piercing His side with a spear and the Virgin Mary, who is nimbed and veiled with her hands joined. She is supported by Evangelist John, who is nimbed and has his right hand on her right shoulder and his left at her left side. A holy woman wearing a headdress kneels at the foot of the cross orant. The scene is in a landscape with a city in the background.
The miniature is surrounded by an architectural frame, decorated at top and bottom with putti holding shields. The inscription in the lower margin is OMEGA.
