MS G.55 fol. 116v

A nimbed Apostle Petr, wearing a cross-surmounted, triple-crowned papal tiara and a cope, holds a key in his right hand and a processional cross in his left hand. He stands in a windowed room in front of three tapestries, one of which is inscribed TU ES PETRUS ET SUPER HANC PETREM EDIFICABO ECCLESIAM MEAM...QUODCUMQUE SOLVERIS SUPER TERRAM ERIT SOLUTUM IN CELIS ET QUOD, based on Matthew 16:18, 19.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament, including a strawberry, inhabited by a rabbit. A monogram of the initials A and P linked by a love knot is in the left margin. The heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly, vair and gules) is in the lower margin.
