In front of Him are three soldiers, one asleep and the other two, one of whom holds a halberd, looking toward Him,. The scene is set in a landscape with trees and buildings in the background.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament. A monogram of the initials A and P linked by a love knot is in the lower margin. Text, Hours of the Virgin.
