MS G.55 fol. 89r

Christ: Before Pilate — A nimbed Christ wearing a purple robe is grasped with both hands by a soldier, who is wearing a helmet and has a saber at his waist. Both stand before Pilate, who is wearing turban-like headgear, sitting on a canopied throne, and raising his right hand. A man wearing a pointed hat stands beside him. A group of men stand in the background. The scene is set in a room with a window through which a landscape is visible.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament. The heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly, vair and gules) is in the lower margin. Text, Seven Penitential Psalms.
