Amid six dogs, two wearing collars, Pierre de Bosredont sits astride a bridled and saddled horse. He is wearing a hat with a feather, a tunic decorated with a small silver Maltese cross, a sword at his waist, and spurs. He is holding a lance in his right hand and reins with his left hand. The figure is set in a landscape in front of two hillocks. In the background are a body of water, a castle surmounted by a heraldic banner with the arms of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly vair and gules), a hill with bushes, and two towers. Above is a starry blue sky. Miniature among Suffrages.

The margins are decorated with floreate ornament, including a strawberry, inhabited by a rabbit, a hawk, and a dog. A monogram of the initials A and P linked by a love knot is in the right margin. In the lower margin is the heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly, vair and gules) flanked by a stag and a deer. The border is inscribed with the motto of Pierre de Bosredont, DI CHOSSON DE NIBORO, and his name, P DE BOSREDONT.
