Description:
Christ: In Gethsemane―Christ, with a rayed nimbus, kneels on a hill below an arc of heaven and extends His joined hands upward. Below, three nimbed apostles sleep.
In the background at the right, soldiers approach, entering a gate. Some of them carry torches or spears (Christ: Betrayal, Arrival in Garden).
The scene is framed by a decorated border. A statue of a male figure in an illusionistic architectural niche is in the left border. In the lower border, PATER NOSTER is inscribed in display script.
