Virgin Mary: Visitation―Within a rocky landscape, the Virgin Mary, who is veiled and has a rayed nimbus, grasps the right hand of a veiled and nimbed Elizabeth. In the distance, a figure (Zacharias?) stands within the archway of a city gate. The scene is framed by a border with a landscape. Two male figures, one with his arm around the other's shoulders, stand in a road leading to a city gate. A dog walks along a road toward a small bridge crossing a river in front of a city gate.
