The Da Costa arms (gules, six argent rib bones) are suspended from a helmet within an illusionistic architectural niche. Two rib bones form a crest on the top of the helmet. Two putti, standing on columns and holding garlands, flank the arms.
All are within an illusionistic wood frame.
