I like art because colors and shades can make an object seem real on a piece of paper. I was first inspired by my cousin's art work. Her drawings made me think "wow"! I really want to draw like her. I remember when I first started to take lessons in Saturday school, I learned about water colors. I was taught how to make colors lighter or darker and how to control the paint. I feel happy whenever I finish a painting. Art helps me stay concentrated on something for a long time and it keeps me interested. I think art is important and useful in everyday life.
