The big idea behind my book is that the greatest magic always lies within you. My inspiration for this book came from my interests in fantasy fiction and legendary creatures. Some of the emotions I tried to show in my book were sadness, happiness, and greed. Throughout the process of creating this book, I learned that nothing will ever be perfect and sometimes it takes many tries to get the story and picture right. But in the end the final book is what I imagined it to be. This book will influence my future writing and artwork because it encourages me to keep writing and drawing. My favorite part of the story is when Shamrock finds his lost emerald and realizes that the magic was never really in the emerald but within himself all along.
