My inspiration for this book came from conversations with my Great Aunt, Ilana Ronen. She shared stories about her late husband, my Great Uncle Azriel. I wrote about when he flew to Argentina to capture Eichmann and bring him to Israel for justice. It’s important to share these stories. Recently I learned, 900 Holocaust survivors in Israel died of COVID-19 and potentially their stories with them.  My goal was to inspire the reader to learn more. This story exemplifies that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves, it reminds me of the importance of collective tolerance and compassion.
