All About Polar Bears

I am so excited about how my book turned out. I picked this topic because we did a writing unit on “All About Animals,” and I learned about a polar bear. My first draft of the book was nonfiction, but I used the information I learned to write a story fiction about a bear called Maya. My favorite part of the story is how Maya kept trying to hunt for a seal and couldn't get one. She finally got one at the end.
When I created my book I really liked using the gold to make the sun rays. It is my favorite part of the illustration. I like the way my book came out. I learned how to use the colors and chalk to make blues for the water. It was fun. All in all I am happy with my book.
