Inscription:

Inscribed by the artist at upper left in pen and black ink, "Johanneβ Weiner von Munchen / hof maller / Macht diβ zu gutter gedechtniβ / den 25 Mars (Mayy?) in Graz (Falz? Zurz?)"; on old mount at lower center in graphite, "Johann Weiner (Weinber) / Munchen ca. 1620+"; at center right, "9-7 x 14-2"; on fragment of old mount, "Weiner Johan" and "2."
