Lupino and the Waterfall
My story is about Lupino, a Winged Wolf, whose small act of kindness helped the Enchanted Waterfall flow, which made the whole ecosystem thrive and ended up saving his life, for we are all connected. I focused on creating detailed illustrations to visually show the changes to my characters and settings, since I learned many people could not read in Medieval times. I loved mixing the vibrant pigments and applying gold leaf with sturgeon glue, because I now appreciate how these materials came from Asia and Africa to Medieval Europe, and what is possible when people share with different cultures.
