The second of three sheets in the Library's collection (nos. 1956.28:58a-c, 1956.28:58d-f, 1956.28:58g-i) with illustrations by Crowquill for his Tales Of Magic and Meaning; the drawings executed three to a sheet for a total of nine illustrations on three sheets lettered "a" through "i".
Series of three small vignette drawings on a single sheet, evidently unpublished but illustrating Alfred Crowquill's collection of children's stories entitled Tales Of Magic and Meaning (London : Grant and Griffith, 1856) and inscribed with individual captions: (d) The little silver bell, (e) The two roses, (f) The Mole Knome.
