This drawing appears on folio 3. The old man in the present drawing recalls the figure of Saint Francis of Paola in Fontana's St Francis of Paola Blessing a Child (1590) in the Pinacotaca Nazionale in Bologna (no. 505), and may have served as a model for that figure.
