Signed at lower right, "do [superscript 'o']. ffranck inv̄". Inscribed on verso, in graphite, at upper left corner, "Ex Riggall"; at upper center, "No [superscript o] 1246"; at lower center, "T Th"; in brown ink, at lower edge, "1833 WE 50x" and "F-Franck".
