Watermark: fleur-de-lis (cf. Heawood 1699: Paris, 1696). Old decorated mount on which drawing is laid down has a different fleur-de-lis mark.

Inscribed on old decorated mount, at left immediately below drawing, in brown ink, "Boudovin f."; at lower left corner, in graphite, "Ex Riggall 499". On verso, in different hands, in black ink, in lower left corner, "N. 128"; in brown ink, "1-11-6"; in graphite, "by A.F. Boudewyns", at lower center, in graphite, "3"; in lower right corner, "d/pr/t".
