Head of an Old Woman, in Profile to the Left
3 15/16 x 3 7/16 inches (100 x 87 mm)
Black, red, and brown chalk, on paper.
I, 129 (2)
Purchased by Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) in 1909.

The drawing and I, 129 (1) are carefully executed studies done from life, from two different points of view, after the same elderly model and were evidently drawn at the same sitting, since the woman's clothing is identical in each.
