Signed with monogram and dated by the artist at lower right, in black chalk, "VG 1653". Inscribed on the verso: in lower left corner, in graphite, "Mer / d 2.L oox... / f 36 / no ["o" in superscript] 600", with "Gg" written in black ink over the number "600"; and at lower center, in graphite, "8".
Watermark: Countermark: Letters "LR". Placed between chain line
