Topic: "Scribal School: Cuneiform Texts in the Morgan Collection"
Join special guest Elizabeth Clancy, ancient textile scholar, Institute of Fine Arts, for an interactive closer look at cuneiform text in the Morgan's Ancient Western Asian collection. Participants will discover the origins of specific cuneiform signs and explore their relationship to Mesopotamian imagery and individuals. Pencil and paper are encouraged to copy the signs from home.
