Summary

Print shows the interior of a barrack-room where ladies are fitting soldiers with warm caps and undergarments. All the men wear conical caps with ear-pieces, some arranged to resemble a fool's cap. The three ladies in the foreground are young and comely; of those in the background, one is enormously fat, others thin and witch-like. On the wall are two dilapidated prints: 'Hannibal' and 'Charles XII' (the head torn off).
