18th-century morocco edges (does not cover full board) with sprinkled paper sides over early wooden boards (28.5 x 20 cm.), sewn on 3 supports, recovered with later goatskin edges and sprinkled paper panels. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; plain endbands.

Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary marginal notations by Benedetto Giovio, mainly in the first 4 quires.
