"Seal 624 may be of about the same date as 621, since the plumes and the rest of the trappings on the horse, as well as the tail tied in a short loop, are characteristic of the time of Sargon II (721-705 B.C.), as may be seen in a colored-enamel painting that has been dated as of the period of this king."--Porada, CANES, p. 74
