The Comte de Beaujolais was the brother of Louis Philippe.
Two detached address leaves with seals and one wrapper with fragments of a seal. One address leaf has the seal of Louis Philippe and appears to be in his hand to "Mrs. Fitzherbert / &c - &c - &c--." The second address leaf has the heraldic seal of the French Royal Arms of Colonial Powers and is addressed in an unknown hand "Mrs. Fitzherbert, / Tilney Street." The wrapper says "Letter from / Duke of Orleans to Mrs. Fitzherbert."
