Instrumental parts only: Violino Primo, Violino Secondo, Viola, and Basso (figured bass), with supplementary parts (e.g. for a wind instrument or violoncello) for some songs. Each vol. consists of 4 sets with separate title-pages, but is paged continuously, with the exception of some indexes, title-pages, etc. Each t.p. is printed from the same plate.
Included are first and early printings of arias, including, from Messiah, first printings of first violin parts for 7, second violin parts for 12, viola parts for 19, and figured bass parts for 12.
