Second version of the opera (lacking the last number).

First complete Neapolitan ed.; advertised in Teodoro Cottrau's Gazzetta musicale di Napoli in August 1855 (cf. Hopkinson, p. 180), it thus precedes what Hopkinson calls the "first complete Italian edition" of the vocal score (Hopkinson 56 B (a), which appeared in 1856); engraved.
Each of the 31 numbers (i.e. nos. 1-30, 35) has its own caption title, price, separate (alternative) pagination, and pl. no.; the five sections of the ballet are on the same size paper as the rest of the score, but are printed from smaller plates (ca. 15 x 23 cm., rather than 23 x 30 cm.).
