Summary
Noting that he came to town for an engagement with Mr. Conway and Lady Ailesbury; describing his engagements from the previous three days and mentioning several mutual acquaintances. Responding with news about "the new soi-disante Margravine" [Elizabeth Berkeley, Lady Craven]. Continuing the letter on Thursday morning, 25th: noting that London is deserted and asking that she send her new direction before departing Florence.
