Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (23 x 16.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports by Fünfblättrige Rose I workshop in Nuremberg (EBDB w000356/Kyriss 114), active ca. 1481-98; repaired by Duprez Lahey. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves. 2 clasps and bosses, wanting. Manuscript title label on front board, by Schedel.

Hand decoration: Rubricated by Hartmann Schedel with alternating red and blue lombards and paragraph marks, red underlining and foliation; blue initial Q (Koberger workshop style) on blind-stamped gold ground with a red and green frame (leaf a1r). Annotations: A few manicules, but no marginal notations in text.
