Binding: 
Contemporary German blind-stamped, dark-stained pigskin over wooden boards (38 x 26 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Modern plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; original decorative endband. Leather fore edge tabs. 2 clasps and bosses missing.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubrication not required. Annotations: No significant inscriptions in text. Later notations to calendar, including "Missale ad usum perpetuum Hospitalis Episcopalis," 16th/17th century (leaf [1]/1r) and textual references and "Ostertag" on 10 April (probably 17th century) added to calendar.
