              19th-century French embossed blue morocco over paper boards (17 x 11 cm.), sewn on 4 supports; in buckram chemise. Plain brown paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; plain endbands; gilt edges.
          Inscriptions/Markings
              Hand decoration: Contemporary French gilt initials on red, pink, or blue ground. Annotations: No notations in text. "Mil" abraded in colophon and replaced with "nee."
