Contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards (34.5 x 24 cm), sewn on 4 supports by the Akelei workshop in Lübeck (EDBD w000903), active 1494-1515. Waste leaves from this edition (leaves z4.7 and e5.6) as front and rear pastedown/fly leaf; edges colored red. 2 clasps; 5 embossed and pierced bosses on each board.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: No rubrication required. Annotations: Pagination, 16th/17th century. Minimal marginal notation (leaf p8r only). Symbol (upward pointing arrow with a split tail and cross bar) added to armorial (leaf [a]1r).
