Binding: 
19th-century brown calf with15th-century blind-filleted calf (probably by a Lower Rhine bindery) laid-on as central panels, over wooden boards (22 x 15 cm), sewn on 4 supports; repaired by Duprez Lahey. Renewed paper pastedowns and endleaves; decorative endbands. Original vellum quire guards retained. 2 clasps and chain hasp, missing. Manuscript title label, previously covered by horn, records other titles originally bound with this work.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Contemporary Lower Rhine (Germany or Netherlands) rubrication, red initials and paragraph marks; primary initial in blue with red penwork decoration. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
