Binding: 
Both volumes: 15th-century Catalan blind-tooled reddish-brown goatskin over wooden boards (29.5 x 21 cm), sewn on 3 supports. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; plain endbands; yellow edges. 2 clasps and metal bosses; 1 clasp wanting from each volume. Bosses have Aragon armorial and motto "Pacyencia lytat" and clasps and catches have a crown. Former chain attachment at bottom edge of rear boards.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Spanish, blue and gold major initials with red, blue, and gold filigree penwork (III/1, leaves a6r, a9r and III/2, leaf a5r), alternating red and blue minor initials with filigree penwork and paragraph marks. Annotations: No marginal notations in text. Contemporary manuscript alpha-numeric quire signatures.
