Historic Library Closed on August 5 and Partially Closed on August 6, 2025

In order to facilitate conservation work on the Triumph of Avarice tapestry, the Morgan’s historic library will be closed to the public on Tuesday, August 5. On Wednesday, August 6, the Rotunda and West and North Rooms will open but the East Room will remain closed. The entire historic library will re-open to the public on Thursday, August 7 at 11 am.

During this time, our exhibitions, Cafe, and Shop are open during regular hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Morgan Library & Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:30 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 10:30 am to 8 pm.
