This portrait was originally pasted over the title-page of an album of 250 drawings by Charles-Germain de Saint Aubin. Known as "Le Recueil des Plantes", this album is now in the collection of Mrs. Paul Mellon. The title-page is also in the collection of the Library (Acc. No. 1956.13).
