Warhol by the Book is the first exhibition in New York devoted solely to Warhol’s career as a book artist.

Objects on view in J. Pierpont Morgan’s library reflect the past, present, and future of the collections in four curatorial departments, comprising illuminated manuscripts from the medieval and renaissance eras, five hundred years of printed books, correspondence and literary manuscripts, as well as printed music and autograph manuscripts by composers.

This exhibition celebrates the life and work of American poet Gwendolyn Brooks (1917–2000).

She Who Wrote: Enheduanna and Women of Mesopotamia, ca. 3400-2000 B.C. brings together for the first time a comprehensive selection of artworks that capture rich and shifting expressions of women’s lives in ancient Mesopotamia during the 3rd millennium B.C.

The Morgan’s collections continually grow and evolve. This presentation features a selection of drawings newly acquired by the Department of Drawings and Prints, which focuses on work created before 1900.

Trees is the third exhibition in a series drawn from the collection of oil sketches acquired by Morgan Trustee Eugene V. Thaw.

This exhibition celebrates the Morgan's Man Booker Prize Collection—the largest American collection devoted to the prize, acquired in 2010.

The Morgan is delighted to present visitors with a unique opportunity to see, for the first time in New York, Leonardo da Vinci's extraordinary Codex on the Flight of Birds, and one of his most celebrated drawings, Head of a Young Woman, together with a selection of other works on paper.
