New Yorker Festival: Saul Steinberg

In celebration of the centennial of the birth of Saul Steinberg, the New Yorker staff writer Ian Frazier will moderate a panel of artists and scholars who will discuss the art and life of Steinberg, best known for his influential work for The New Yorker, which spanned nearly six decades. Panelists include political cartoonist and illustrator Barry Blitt, author and comic artist Richard McGuire, independent curator Melissa Renn, and Joel Smith, Richard L. Menschel curator of photography at the Morgan Library & Museum. A selection of original drawings by Steinberg from the Morgan's collection will be on view for the program.
