Celebrate the closing of the exhibition A Lively Mind: Jane Austen at 250 with a wide-ranging roundtable discussion on Austen’s fashion, letters, manuscripts, family, and posthumous recognition. This roundtable will include presentations by Juliette Wells, co-curator of the exhibition and professor of Literary Studies at Goucher College; Dale Stinchcomb, co-curator of the exhibition and Drue Heinz Curator of Literary and Historical Manuscripts at the Morgan; and Hilary Davidson, textile and fashion historian and curator, and author of Jane Austen’s Wardrobe and Dress in the Age of Jane Austen: Regency Fashion.

The program takes place in Gilder Lehrman Hall on the Ground Floor. Doors to the Hall will open 30 minutes before the program begins. A Lively Mind: Jane Austen at 250 will be open to visitors before and after the program.
