George and Nora London Foundation for Singers
The Morgan has partnered with the George and Nora London Foundation for Singers since 1995 on a series of vocal recitals and hosts the annual Competition Finals. This season of performances are dedicated to the memory of Nora London (1924-2022).

Benjamin Taylor made his Metropolitan Opera debut in the 2021-22 season in the role of Chester in the acclaimed season-opening production of Terence Blanchard’s Fire Shut Up in My Bones, in addition to debuts with Michigan Opera Theatre and Spoleto Festival USA in La bohème in the role of Schaunard. His performance as Papageno in The Magic Flute with Pittsburgh Opera elicited this from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “Saturday evening's purest delight was Benjamin Taylor, an alumnus of the opera's renowned resident artist program... Taylor's voice is a supple and robust baritone that he wielded with Mozartian lightness…Put simply, he killed on opening night.” Upcoming performances include La bohème with Boston Lyric Opera and La Fanciulla del West with Bayerische Staatsoper.

The event will take place in the Morgan's Gilder Lehrman Hall. By entering the museum, you agree to our updated Visitor Guidelines and Policies. Masks are encouraged, but not required for attending all public programs.

$55; $45 for Morgan Members
