A translation, by Robert Burrant, of Catonis disticha, which are not in fact by Cato.
Includes, besides the Catonis disticha, precepts from Ausonius, D.M. Ludus septem sapientum; and the precepts called Mimi Publiani -- STC
"Sage and prudente saiynges [sic] of the seauen [sic] wyse men" and "Wyse saiynges and prety tauntes of Puplius" have separate divisional title pages; and are signed ²A-P⁸.
Collation: A-M⁸ [-M8], A- D⁸ [-D6] E-P⁸ ( the missing two leaves were probably blanks).
