Previously in old stamped leather with fleurs-de-lis; rebound in 1849 in blind-tooled English calf with diapered fleur-de-lis panels, simulating the original covers, pieces of which are pasted on inside covers (these 19th-century covers, spine, and endbands are housed in the object file); rebound in 2018 in full brown Hoffmann calfskin over laminated cotton boards with blind-tooled diapered fleur-de-lis panels simulating the original covers, rounded spine with five false bands, plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves, and decorative endbands.
