Ms. gradual (temporale); written and illuminated in northern Italy, possibly Perugia, ca. 1260-1270.
Scribe: written by at least 2 hands.
The leaf between fol. 218 and 219 is missing; the manuscript breaks off in the middle of the 19th Sunday after Pentecost and may have originally gone through the 24th Sunday after Pentecost.
Decoration: 34 historiated initials, 66 decorated initials, numerous elaborate penwork initials, some with zoomorphic motifs. The manuscript is distinctive for preserving instructions for the illuminator alongside nearly all of the painted initials.
Musical notation: 4-line red staves with square notes.
