Pakistani American artist Shahzia Sikander is internationally celebrated for bringing Indo-Persian manuscript-painting traditions into dialogue with contemporary art practice.

In 1902, the American financier and collector J. Pierpont Morgan (1837–1913) commissioned architect Charles Follen McKim (1847–1909) of the firm McKim, Mead & White to design a freestanding library next to his home on East 36th Street in New York.

The Morgan will be seen in a new light! An important part of our project to restore the 1906 McKim, Mead, & White-designed library and improve the site surrounding it is a lighting design by New York City-based lighting designer Linnaea Tillett.
