Vol. 1 contains an early printing of the words and music of John Stafford Smith's Anacreontic song, beginning "To Anacreon in Heaven" (p. [1]-4), followed by "Song II. For a literary society, calld 'The Social Club'," to be sung to the tune of To Anacreon in Heaven; the same tune was later used in The Star-spangled banner.
Vol. 2 contains the first printing of the words of Robin Adair (p. 304-305).
