Rigoletto. Vocal score. French

Paris : L. Grus, [1883?]
Notes:

Original Italian libretto by F.M. Piave after V. Hugo's Le roi s'amuse.
Orchestral accompaniment arranged for piano.
T.p.: p. [1]; "Personnages" and "Catalogue des morceaux": p. [3].
Lithographed.
Early French edition of the vocal score with French text.
This edition seems to have been prepared from the altered plates of Hopkinson 53 A (s); the text has been changed occasionally, and articulation signs have been added. For example, the words of Gilda's "Caro nome," on p. 118 in both editions, are, in 1859, "O nom charmant et si doux, Nom chéri de mon époux," but, in this edition, "Ô doux nom, ô nom charmant. Tu résonnes doucement." And in the last measure on p. 120, this edition adds slurs to the grouped sixteenth notes of "â[me]" that are not present in the earlier edition.
Not in Hopkinson or Chusid.
