Notes

A preparatory drawing by Saint-Exupéry for Le petit prince related an illustration for part V, which shows the little prince on a planet overtaken by three baobab trees, and is printed with the caption "Les baobabs." The boa constrictor sketches are related to those that illustrate part I. ([Paris]: Gallimard, c1946 [1967 impression]) p. 9-10, 25.

Summary

Drawing shows a the little prince holding a shovel and standing atop a planet being overtaken by a single baobab tree.
