Summary: 

Sketchbook containing 24 pages of drawings executed by Keene in graphite, pen and ink, wash, and watercolor; included are drawings of models, sketches from life, and studies for illustrations, including two allegorical scenes entitled "Charity" and "Work", as well as a series of drawings on 5 pages recording a visit made by Keene to the Kentish hop fields in the summer of 1856.
